“Yellow Trees” Woodblock Print. Edition of 70.

I made the image and transferred it onto wooden blocks. The blocks were carved according to the color. With a Barron, I pressed the inked blocks onto the paper to make the final print. Archival Japanese rice paper was used, which enhances the image and the process. Each limited edition woodblock print has its own unique characteristic. These prints are custom-made. Each artwork is discreetly signed, named, and numbered at the bottom of each piece. The artwork is not framed, but I can offer recommendations for framing if necessary. Inspiration For Yellow trees

The focus of this piece revolves around the natural lighting during a summer afternoon. The presence of both autumnal trees with yellow leaves and blooming yellow trees and shrubs, as well as stylized representations of grass and organic shapes, are key elements. Trees have captivated my interest since my childhood, as my parents resided on a farm with an expansive garden, where we frequently planted trees.
